Hello, neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today, we're looking at the JR Products Quick Disconnect Kit with a 1/4 inch NPT. So, folks, this Quick Disconnect Propane Connector and adapter fitting will securely snap together, and then attach to your hose or propane lines on your camper or RV, and we recommend using maybe a bracket of some sort to create a quick disconnect outlet on your RV, so that's one option. One thing I like about it is, once you've got this in place, this will only turn on if it's fully seated. So, let's say I didn't get this fully seated and it went in that far, this wouldn't even let you turn the gas on because it'd be blocked by this, so that's a nice safety feature that I like. So, that has to be all the way down and on before you can turn the gas on.
It's a simple ball valve. It's approved for LP and natural gas, and it is CSA, CGA and AGA-certified. Now, it does have a 1/4 inch male NPT adapter fitting that installs directly onto the grill or other appliances, and you could also alter a propane hose if you wanted to, to put one of these fittings on there as well. So, again, you get all the threads on the one side, same here. So, if you had your hose, obviously your hose would've something like this on it, you can connect this in unlike your hose maybe, or vice versa depending on your setup.
